Claire's Journal Entry for The Giraffe That Walked To Paris

In The Giraffe That Walked To Paris our lesson was that we can be reconciled to God through Jesus and we can tell people about Jesus. We can be ambassadors for God.

A beautiful giraffe belongs to the pasha of Egypt. Fance and Egypt were not friends and that was in the year 1826. The pasha asked his ambassador what he could do so that the people of Egypt will be friends with the French people. The ambassador said "You could send your giraffe." And the pasha said, "I will send my giraffe to the king of France right away." La Girafe floated on the Mediterranean Sea in a boat called The Two Brothers and landed in Marseilles, France. Then she had to stay there through the winter and the king was surprised (excited). In the spring she started going to Paris walking. She finally gets to Paris in the summer and the king finally gets to see her (look at her).
